The Body Loop

www.thebodyloop.com

The Body Loop is a resistance band designed specifically for yoga, Pilates and rehab based movement programs. By providing resistance and support, it enhances proprioception while improving coordination and posture. By providing sensory feedback from mechanoreceptors and fascia, the Body Loop retrains posture across the kinetic chain.

The Body Loop is made of 3 inch wide woven elastic that feels good next to the skin. It is available in 3 lengths: small (red), medium (green) and large (purple). Each size can be configured via velcro fasteners into 8 sizes for a total of 24 sizes. The loop sizing ranges from 6 inches to 6 feet in diameter making it highly adaptable for many movement practices.

Pilates Teacher Training

At Synergy we believe that patient specific exercise leads to excellent outcomes. We have been “Empowering Through Movement” since 2011. Synergy Sports Medicine is proud to offer its third Foundational and Classical Pilates Mat Teacher Training. Under the guidance of Riki Richter, Movement Therapy Director at Synergy Sports Medicine, you’ll begin to master the tools of the Pilates Method and develop a discerning eye. This will be an in-person training starting March 1 2024. Our approach is both practical and academic. We introduce teaching early in the program so you’ll gain lots of hands-on experience and build your assessment skills. You’ll also become a critical thinker, using current research and biomechanically-sound cues to discover the “why” behind movement. Our incredible faculty have been teaching for 25+ years. If you have a clinical or movement background and are interested in applying to participate in this limited space in-person teacher training Email Synergy Sports Medicine.

 Additional Workshops

The Body Loops and Developmental Movement

The Body Loop, developed by Diane Bruni, will be used while exploring developmental movement patterns which are hardwired into our central nervous systems. Developmental movements range from baby pose to quadruped to squatting to walking. The Body Loop will be used to enhance proprioception, provide support and increase muscle recruitment.
